Deimos is one of the two moons of Mars. It is the smallest moon in the solar system.
Her neighbour is Phobos the other moon of Mars.
It was discovered on 10 August 1877 by Hall.

In 2004 esa discovered methane on mars which means that either there is life on Mars, or that volcanic activity continues to generate heat below the martian surface.
